Saturday night the Ontario Sportsman Series returned to Full Throttle Motor Speedway to complete the rain out from earlier in the season. The 18 of Chad Mcglynn and 15 of Michael Hryniuk Jr. comprised the front row that brought the field to green. A fierce side by side battle over the opening laps found the 15 prevailing to grab the early lead. Hryniuk Jr. held this spot until lap 33. After contact between the 15 and 18 the hard charging #3 of Tim Tolton slipped by them both to take the lead, a position he would never relinquish over the rest of the race despite charges from Hryniuk Jr, and Kevin Trevillin. The checker flag fell over Tolton followed by Trevillin , Hryniuk Jr, Brad Robinson with a career best fourth and Mark Patrick with his first top 5 of the season.
Next up is the series inaugural visit to the dirt of Southern Ontario Motor Speedway for the Unifor 444 Asphalt Invasion.
