On August 13th, the Ontario Sportsman Series returned to Full Throttle Motor Speedway for their second trip to the high banks of Varney. After qualifying, the #18 of Chad McGlynn found himself as WMI Pole Award winner, with two time Full Throttle Motor Speedway winner Tim Tolton, in the #3 joining him on the front row. At the drop of the green flag it was McGlynn who jumped out to the lead, closely pursued by Tolton. After a hard fought 100 laps, it was McGlynn taking the checkers, his first win of 2022, by a car length over Tolton. The #19 of Kevin Trevellin, rounding out the podium continuing his hot streak in the last three races. Mark Patrick finished a solid 4th and points leader Michael Hryniuk Jr. rounded out the top five.
The series returns for their second visit to the Flamboro Speedway on Sept 10th. The points battle is getting tight with 2 to go! Who will take home the 2022 Ontario Sportsman Series Championship?
