What started as a questionable night quickly turned into an unforgettable one at Peterborough Speedway for the Silver Wheel 100 presented by AF International!

When we arrived, the skies were an ominous grey, and after getting a practice session in, the rain came pouring down for nearly an hour and a half. It looked like the night might be over before it started, Todd Seburn was even joking that we should race boats instead of cars.

But the weather finally broke, and the incredible Peterborough Speedway crew went to work drying the track. After nearly an hour of drying, we finally got qualifying underway. Unfortunately, with the transponders not registering, we had to default to the championship points lineup.

When the checkered flag flew, Kevin Trevellin 19 led the charge with Todd Sheppard 47 right on his bumper. Canadian Hurricane – Austin Seburn 24 put together a huge comeback drive to claim third, while Donavin Clark 52 battled his way to fourth. And after starting dead last due to the circumstances of where the 27 car sat in points, Amber Balcaen Racing stormed through the field to finish an impressive fifth!

Unfortunately, with a major Late Model incident and the clock working against us, the night was cut short. The plan was to run twin 50 lap races but the first 50 lap feature became the official race, giving Kevin Trevellin his first feature win in four years!

A special mention to Jordan Fidler and Jordan Willms 80 of Flat Broke Racing, who had an absolutely fantastic run. That car was flying all night, gaining positions and keeping pace with the leaders! That crews seen some big growth this year.
